Welcome to Cambodia,
My name is Voeun Savuth, I was born in 1980. Since 1999, I have been working and guiding as Moto driver around Cambodia sites. Then in 2005, I received the license from the Cambodia Ministry of Tourism and became an official Tourist Guide in Cambodia. Now, I am working for a freelance tourist guide as main job, meeting people from around the world. I'm interested in history, cultures, ancient architectures, languages, etc... I really love to introduce those things about Cambodia to the world. So doing a tourist guide to help and have a chance to share the many things with overseas is my perfect happiness. :).
I love my job as it helps me to learn more about the worlds as I interact with guests, and it allows me to share with them the wonders of the country that I love - Cambodia. I could open their eyes to a country which formally had rich cultures, ancient civilizations, people, Art and architecture that have been lost and damaged during the civil-war (1975 - 1979). I'm told by my parents so many people were killed by Khmer Rouge and they saw many of their friends die during the war as well as many civilians.
I can also provide pick up and delivery from Poipet to Angkor wat tours.

I Could never be more Thankful For Voeun, who always had a smile on his face and accurate on time.
I was very lucky to have my journey with him, we highlighted out most of Siem Reap in a very short of time, he explained to me the history and the culture and the traditions of Siem Reap.
A big Thanks To Voeun for this AWESOME Journey!

Savuth is a Cambodian treasure himselfby TravelBuddee_Admin on October 19, 2017 4:55am UTC
We shared 4 wonderful days with Savuth, an expert guide to Angkor and Siem Reap surrounds. The temples of Angkor and the history of Cambodia is so immense and detailed that without a knowledgeable guide you could miss so much. Savuth is punctual with a comfortable vehicle and understands how to vary tours to suit individual preferences. We preferred to move slowly and to visit some of the less touristed temples. Savuth knows exactly where to go and when to avoid the busiest times. The tour is full of information but Savuth also knows when to give you time alone to just to soak it all in. We stopped for meals along the way at local restaurants sampling regular Cambodian foods like noodles and bbq pork rice. Other stops included local produce stalls but regular stalls, not tourist setups, Savuth wants to show you the real Cambodia. We also needed a pharmacy stop for our son and a mobile phone stop, all he was happy to assist with. An excellent driver, fully seat belted vehicle and he drives slowly, I always felt safe. I highly recommend Savuth and definitely encourage anyone to take a qualified guide to Angkor, it is money super well spent. We had planned on employing Savuth for 2 days and ended up extending that to 4. He is a lovely guy with a great knowledge to share.

Unforgettable tour with a fantastic guideby TravelBuddee_Admin on October 19, 2017 4:56am UTC
Savuth is such a wonderful tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the Angkor temples, and Cambodia's history in general, and was able to answer all our questions. We would not have enjoyed our time at the Angkor temples anywhere near as much without his interesting commentary.
As it is a private tour we were able to customise it to suit us and Savuth went out of his way to make the trip enjoyable and memorable for us. I was interested in purchasing a painting to take home as a souvenir and he even went out of his way to take us to a place where we could buy paintings directly from the artists at a much cheaper price than at the tourist areas.
In addition Savuth is obviously passionate about the history and culture of Cambodia and is just a lovely person and a pleasure to be around. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
